Breaking the Routine: A Day to Remember πŸš†πŸ›

28 April

It’s officially been 47 days since I arrived! Yesterday was one of the most exciting days so far. My friend and I went on a little adventure — not just to downtown, but also to two nearby cities: Chillhong Hills and Tigok Station.

We headed to Chillhong Hills mainly to buy goat meat, and it was totally worth the trip. At night, we cooked a big meal — rice with mutton curry — and it turned out so tasty that everyone ended up eating way more than usual! Honestly, it was one of the best meals we’ve had here.

For the first time, it really hit me that I’m living in another country. Most days just feel like a cycle of university, eating, and sleeping, but yesterday broke the routine and made me feel alive again.

Also, fun fact — we used the train for the first time! Compared to other ways of getting around, it was insanely fast. I have a travel card too, which cuts the fare in half compared to what my friend pays (lucky me!).

That’s pretty much it for today. Wish me luck though — I have my Korean exam coming up and honestly... I’m not really prepared. πŸ˜… Fingers crossed!

Stay tuned — I’ll be posting some of the best moments we captured during the trip too! πŸ“Έ✨
