A Hot Weekend in Daegu: Student Life Update

 April 19,2025

It's hotter by the day here in Daegu. The temperature reached as high as about 24°C today. The sky was clear, but I and my friend felt extremely warm anyway.

I'm gonna tell you about my weekend as an international student so don't compare with others. Now, I am not doing any job because I haven't received my ARC card yet here in South Korea. That's why I am trying to save money and don't move out much. But tomorrow, me with my friend are going to hit the main city — so here's another story coming ahead!

We had a party in my friend's room last night at midnight called the "Weekend of Beer." I didn't drink anything, though. Because of the party, I slept at 6 AM and woke up at 11 AM.

Nothing remarkable has happened today, but I felt like sharing and getting into the habit of making blogs — and that's why I'm writing this.

I went shopping today at Tejone Mart. I was amazed at the cost of groceries from what I observed in Nepal. For example, 1 kg of onions cost 4,500 won, while in Nepal it costs around 1,000 won or even less depending on the season. I also spent nearly 20,000 won on a week's worth of groceries.
